Joseph’s style of therapy employs a combination of Cognitive Behavioral, Insight, and Person-Centered approaches. He works with individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents. Joseph has developed and lead groups in both anger management and relaxation training. Joseph has particular interests in treating Anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders. He also treats a variety of disorders and problems, including but not limited to, Depression, Anger Management, Bipolar Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Psychotic Disorders, Trauma, Substance Abuse, as well as behavioral and Impulse Control Disorders.
Kathi earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2000 from the University of Maryland with a secondary specialization in Behavioral Science. She earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from McDaniel College in 2004, becoming certified in the state of Maryland as a K-12 school counselor. She is also certified as a Maryland K-12 Pupil Personnel Worker. Kathi spent ten years as a school counselor at the high school and middle school levels. She holds national certifications from the National Board for Certified Counselors as an NCC (National Certified Counselor) and NCSC (National Certified School Counselor). Kathi became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in 2013. In addition to Maryland, she is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New York and Delaware, Additionally, she is a board recognized supervisor for LGPC counselors.
She worked in an outpatient mental health clinic for over eight years, working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing individual, family, and school based therapy. Her experience includes, helping those with mood, anxiety and panic disorders, adjustment disorders, self-harm, anger management difficulties, ADHD, grief/loss/bereavement, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and life transition issues.
Kathi uses a variety of clinical techniques including Client Focused, CBT, and Solution-Focused, individualized to the client.. She believes that a client-therapist partnership is essential in change and healing.

Maura has experience working with clients struggling with a wide range of issues, including anxiety and phobias, mood disorders, ADHD, OCD, and trauma, as well as those struggling with self-esteem, behavioral problems, anger management and relationship issues. She specializes in working with children and their families and has additional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Maura believes in creating an open, judgment-free environment where clients can feel comfortable and safe discussing and working on any issues they are struggling with. She focuses on cognitive-behavioral and strengths-based techniques but tailors treatment to meet each client’s individual needs and goals.
She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University in 2001 and received a Masters and Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Ohio State University in 2007. During her years of practice, Holly has worked with clients at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Miami University Counseling Services, and Mount Carmel Behavioral Healthcare. She is currently a faculty member in the psychology department at McDaniel College.
Brittany specializes in working with teens and young adults, but also works with adults of all ages. She also works with couples. She specializes in the following areas: relationship issues, major life transitions/stressors, self-esteem issues, co-occurring disorders, depression and anxiety disorders, and adjustment disorders.
Brittany may be described by others as passionate, motivating, and dedicated to helping her clients. As a clinician, Brittany strives to create an environment for her clients where they feel comfortable, accepted, and able to express themselves freely without judgment. She meets clients where they are at in their lives currently and works alongside them to help them achieve their goals. Brittany believes that through a strong and genuine therapeutic relationship, a client can achieve anything they wish.
Brittany’s approach in the therapeutic relationship involves a combination of person-centered therapy, strengths-based therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques.
