Megan Yount
Megan utilizes an integrative, strengths-based approach to therapy, incorporating multiple evidence-based modalities based on each client’s individual needs and goals. Her clinical philosophy recognizes each client as the expert on their own experiences and emphasizes collaboration, individual strengths, and resilience throughout the therapeutic process. Megan’s current areas of clinical focus include grief and loss, anticipatory grief, hospice and palliative care, and postpartum mental health. She works with individuals experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety, as well as individuals and families navigating infant grief
and loss. Her work supports clients as they process significant loss, life transitions, and the emotional challenges associated with the postpartum period and end-of-life experiences. Megan provides individual therapy to adolescents ages 13 and older and adults. She is also a Board Approved Supervisor for Social Workers and Counselors and provides clinical supervision and professional support to developing clinicians.
