Robert is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor who earned his MA in Counseling Psychology from Towson University. Before becoming a mental health therapist, Robert received a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from UMBC and understands the importance of integrating concepts of community, culture and meaning-making into clinical practice. Robert specializes in individual and group therapy with specific expertise in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, relationship issues and addiction.

Robert uses an individualized, integrative approach to psychotherapy – utilizing CBT, narrative therapy, and strength-based approaches to provide clients with the tools they need to heal, improve self-esteem, set and maintain healthy boundaries, and to feel better equipped to deal with the challenges of daily life. Robert understands that safe, non-judgmental spaces are required in order to best help clients explore issues of gender and sexuality, as well as to process trauma. Robert also welcomes non-native English speakers and clients whose country of origin is outside of the U.S.
