Karalyn Mulligan has been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, LCPC, since 2009, and has served as a counselor, advocate, and program administrator for many years prior. She is also a board approved supervisor for newly licensed therapists. Karalyn sees adolescents and adults for telehealth appointments in Maryland.

Focus areas include Anxiety, Depression, trauma (in childhood and more recent), PTSD, gender and sexuality, relationship issues, and life transitions. Therapy includes an individualized, collaborative approach and may use modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT, mindfulness, client-focused or person-centered, and other strategies to bring insight and empowerment to her clients. Karalyn’s primary goals are to provide meaningful sessions, to offer both empathetic support and assistance in reflecting on one’s thoughts and behaviors in a warm and respectful way, and to assist clients in achieving mental and emotional wellbeing and stability.
