
Deanna earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Human Services from Stevenson University in 2015. She then earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work with a focus in clinical behavioral health from University of Maryland in 2018. Deanna completed several internships focused on substance use treatment as well as co-occurring disorders. She has experience in treating clients with forensic involvement from her time working with Carroll County Drug Court clients and individuals in custody at the Carroll County Detention Center
Deanna’s employment history includes Access Carroll and Maryland Treatment Centers where she was able to gain experience working with a wide variety of clients.
Deanna specialized in substance use/addiction in the family, anxiety, depression, and stress management. She believes in a strengths based approach and develops individualized treatment for each client utilizing these strengths. Deanna uses multiple treatment modalities to find the perfect fit for each client. Deanna is currently holds a license as a Certified Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland.
