Lynn sees a variety of patients including children, adolescents, adults, and families; however, specializes in Trauma Disorders including Acute Stress Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Dissociative Disorders.
Lynn received her undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2000. She went on to study forensic psychology at University of Baltimore before pursuing her Master’s of Social Work at the University of Maryland which she completed in 2004. Lynn is licensed in the State of Maryland and is registered with the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners as an approved supervisor.
Lynn worked at Sheppard Pratt Hospital in the Trauma Disorders Service Line for eight years where she received extensive training and experience in trauma related disorders and associated behaviors such as self injury. While at Sheppard Pratt, Lynn was an Aggression Management Trainer and a member of Sheppard’s Critical Incident Team. Most recently Lynn worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Pediatric Emergency as part of The Child Protection Team. She has presented to medical residents on Vicarious Traumatization, conducted continuing education trainings for Baltimore City Child Protective workers on Traumatized Children, and is trained in the forensic interviewing of children.
Lynn is very excited to be joining Cedar Ridge Counseling. She is interested in working with many different populations with the singular goal to support people and their movement towards wellness.
